3-Day Wedding Training Course
We are pleased to introduce our professional and modern Wedding Celebrant Training Course. Via either classroom-based training courses or one-to-one training, our Celebrancy Wedding Training Course will teach you all you need to know about becoming a professional Celebrant specialising in leading wedding ceremonies.
We also teach you how to lead baby-naming ceremonies, vow renewals and life events – we even touch on wedding toast and toastmaster services. You will learn how to maximise your potential by making your Celebrancy business a success.
Our training days are full of informative content designed to help you with the best possible start to your Celebrancy business.
Our wedding training course is designed to be engaging, and we encourage collaborative group work and elements of personal, focused exercises in order to help you get the most out of the UK Celebrant Academy 3-Day Wedding Training Course.
We will prepare and provide all training materials, including a social media expert present during that section of the course, as we teach you all aspects of running a successful Celebrancy business. You will be ready to launch your business from the moment you leave our training course.
You will also have one-to-one sessions with Richard Lavender to support you in these vital first months while you launch your business.
See the Course Content below to give you an idea of what we will cover.

What will you learn from our courses?
Module 1: Before We Start
First, UK Celebrant Academy sets a clear path for the course and outlines the course content.
You will understand the role of a Celebrant and all the tasks you should expect to undertake as a professional. In this module we will encourage you to reflect on your skill set, experience, strengths and weaknesses and establish your specialisms.
Module 2: The Whole Picture
During Module 2, we will explore ceremony planning and execution. We will explore how to make a ceremony memorable and unique to your specialisms.
Module 3: The Ceremony Process
Here, we look at how you will work with the happy couple at every step, from your initial contact to following up with them after their big day. Considering the journey as a whole is a key element to map out to ensure each couple’s experience with you is unique and memorable. Here we will cover meetings, rehearsals and continual communication, as well as how to deal with any unexpected curve balls that may arise in order to ensure their day goes as smoothly as planned.
Module 4: The Ceremony Creation
This module will show you how to create a ceremony from scratch. We will explore pre-process planning, religious/symbolic rituals, choice of music, vows/readings, choreography as well as other core elements that create a memorable ceremony.
Module 5: Prepare for the Day
You can be as prepared as you’ll ever be, but it’s the execution on the day that people will remember. Here we prepare you with what to expect, presentation and professionalism that won’t go unnoticed, venue space organisation and arrangements, any required equipment and communication with other professionals involved in the big day.
Module 6: Running your Celebrancy Business
Being a great Celebrant is no use if you cannot manage your business. We will teach you elements including how to reach your target market, and how to organise your business to run seamlessly. UKCA will bring along experts to answer your queries and show you best practices. All techniques taught here will take the headache away from the admin of running a business and allow you to focus on what you do best.
Module 7: Moving Forward
Running your own business isn’t easy, but we have included some tried and tested coaching techniques to help your self-confidence and self-motivation to skyrocket! You will leave prepared, confident and focused to start your Celebrancy business, with a community of like-minded Celebrant professionals to share your journey with and follow-up training with Richard Lavender.
